Take out that heart of yours
The one keep, hidden and protected
Use it, play with it, pass it around
For all to share and receive warmth
Do not let your light and love be hid
Do not keep it in the dark for fear of being broken
Let it get chipped, let it lose it's luster
For it is better to have loved then to never
Let go of the fear and let the light shine
For if you harbor fear in that heart of yours
Love can not shine through
Do not be afraid
A heart is used for much greater things
Love that heart of yours and show it you care
Oh what a world we would have
Should all our great hearts unite
Love is what we are born with.
Fear is what we learn.
The spiritual journey is the
unlearning of fear and prejudices
and the acceptance of love back in our hearts.
Love is the essential reality
and our purpose on earth.
To be consciously aware of it,
to experience love in ourselves and others,
is the meaning of life.
